They do this to make us socially acceptable to teach us how to behave in society. It doesn't make sense to me that the whole world is constantly keeping you locked up in a box and then they have the audacity to tell you to THINK outside of it. I hate being told what to do and what not to do. I hate being put under any kind of pressure. I hate being put under pressure to write something. And even then, what comes out isn't exactly heart-warming or sobby or anything of worth really. I write when I'm angry or confused or broken or all of the above. I write to blow off steam or when I want to cry but I can't. When I do write, if ever, my pieces are vulnerably personal. Most of my expression hides behind the lyrics of illegally downloaded music. I'm not a creative or even very expressive person. I don't know when or why I decided this but I do know that it's true.
